Spartanburg, SC
Union Depot
Spartanburg Station was built in 1904. This station is currently still standing and is home to
Amtrak and to the Spartanburg Convention Bureau. Much credit to this station's survival should
go to then 16 year old Trey Davis, a Spartanburg native, who helped save the station afer a devestating
1996 fire that gutteted the interior of the station. We applaude his efforts in saving this landmark.
