This REA / Baggage facility was built at the same time as the Charleston ACL passenger station in the late 1950s. The REA / Baggage facility is located on the other side of Rivers Ave from the passenger station, and was built to match the passenger depot's architecture. At this time the facility is in use by a recycling company. It also sits on the former site of a former temporary ACL Passenger Station. This structure survives as of 2020 and is the last remaining ACL structure in the area after the old depot's demise in 2019.
