There were once a number of ACL freight stations along East Bay Street in Charleston.
The above freight station (orig. Northeastern RR) was one of a pair of stations located near the corner of E.Bay and Chapel Street. Sadly the twin of this station was destroyed in 1973.
The above picture is the old Northeastern RR Station which was destroyed during the CW, when the gun power inside caught fire causing a large explosion killing many people.
The below station was located along E. Bay street near the SC Port. The old ACL depot burned in the 80s.
