Seaboard Air Line Station
This former Seaboard Air Line Station stands at 903 Gervais Street and was built in 1903. Originally it had a switch tower but it was removed at an unknown time. After the fall of passenger service for the SCL, it came into Amtrak's control. It stayed that way until the "City" of Columbia decided to remove the tracks downtown. As a result it was abandoned, and later made into restaurant. They did a great job restoring the station including replacing the stations platform roof with a replica of the 1940's one.
