Atlantic Coast Line Railroad Depot
In 01/2004 The city of Denmark awarded contracts to restore the depot and to transform it into a visitors' center and a multi-use building along South Carolina's Heritage Corridor. In addition to restoring the building a reconstruction of the passenger shed will be constructed on the Railroad Avenue side of the building. Also the area from the Cedar Avenue entrance and around the depot itself will be landscaped.
